Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a concentration of natural growth factors and cells collected from the patient’s own blood, that can promote healing after surgical procedures and maximize tissue regeneration. During a Platelet Rich Fibrin procedure, a standard blood draw is taken and spun at high-speeds to create concentrated natural growth factors, platelets and leukocytes with no additional additives. Platelet Rich Fibrin can be used as an adjunct to a variety of procedures including tooth extraction, bone grafting and tissue grafting to promote healing.
